The result is a true and truly seductive wine with characteristic bouquet hinting at red currant, blueberry, blackberry and raspberry. Mellow in taste, elegant and complex, and extraordinarily persistent.
This wine impresses with dark garnet and developed color. The aromas are typical for Cabernet – fruity and intense. The taste is fresh, complex and medium structured. The velvet tannins resulted of the maturing in French oak barrels are perfectly integrated with the aromas of raspberries and blueberries. The long and spicy aftertaste defines this wine as incredible!
The Chianti Classico Riserva has an intense ruby red color. The bouquet is dominated by mature fruity notes, reminiscent of black bilberries. It has a full, concentrated and intense flavor. On the palate there is a very pleasant flavor of mature cherries, which lingers for a long time, with sweet tannins that blend in perfectly with the structure of the wine.
A wine of towering elegance, Summus is an extraordinary blend of Sangiovese (used regionally to make the famed Brunello di Montalcino) which contributes body; Cabernet Sauvignon, fruit and structure; and Syrah, elegance, character and a fruity bouquet. Each wine is individually vinified and aged one year in French oak barrique to develop its unique style, then masterfully interwoven with the others to achieve a rare dimension of taste. Summus is characterized by a rich color and lively dance of ripe soft-fruit flavors. An additional 14-16 months of bottle-aging brings forth a fragrant bouquet of fruit, oak and spice.
